How Was It Losing Weight Like After Pregnancy?

I’m curious of how everyone else’s post partum turned out?
did you stomach go back to normal?
was there loose skin?
even if you have stretch marks, were you able to tone it?
I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I’m already one of the unfortunate people who got the stretch marks. I’m planning on toning out my whole body but is wondering if the stretch marks will cause the skin to sag?

Your skin may be a little loose after birth, depending on how much fat you gained with the baby belly. Mine was BAD after my second child because I put on too much weight in fat. It looks gross for the first week after you give birth and gets better pretty fast. It is hard to find time to work out after baby gets here though, but generally you can lose a lot just by the non-stop, round-the-clock work that comes with a newborn. Keep rubbing on the cocoa butter- I swear it worked for me! Twice a day and drink lots of water to help keep your skin healthy. I also tried rubbing liquid Vitamin A into the marks and that seemed to help a little…

I’m really hoping you get some answers… I’m 38 weeks today, and just started getting stretch marks around the 35/36 week mark. I plan to work out ASAP and really get toned and such (A lot more realistic for me then some parents, as he’s going to be adopted), but I want to know what other pregnant women deal with!

I’m 36 weeks also with stretch marks. I’m wondering the same thing and I plan to work out asap! Some women can get toned and others will have loose skin. I’m worried about this too. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I don’t know the answer of your question. I googled but I couldn’t find any clear answer for you. Sorry! Hope others can help you.
